    "The Bar was shut far to early .So if you went out and got back about 22.00 you had one drink and be told that the would be shutting soon.And so you would be better of staying in the city and coming back that bit latter." (97608470)

    first room booked in was as if you had a passive smoker in thier.The second room we were given was for an invalid.The third room was what we expecded in the first place.

    Excellent room rate for 1 nights stay for 2 adults. Very clean rooms Super power shower in bathroom, friendly polite and hepful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Loved the free phone taxi service which was invaluable to us. Restaurant service was very good.

    Price of drinks in bar were very expensive!! After checking in wanted a lunchtime drink before heading into Glasgow for Scottish cup final, but were unable to have anything on draft as they chose a lunchtime to clean the pumps - not very good planning as bottles of beer were smaller and far more costly!!! Surely this could have been done after lunchtime?? Some of the meals appeared as if they had just been defrosted and then microwaved.

    Valuefor money and location - access and parking

    Bar staff inexperienced. On departure the breakfast was running out due to a large bus party - needs some seating control. Reception staff good and helpful.

    Large room and bathroom with good sized shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room etc was very clean.

    The TV was too small (or I am getting old) and the bed was not very comfortable which led to a disturbed night. The room service menu was not as extensive as the restaurant menu which was a disappointment.

    Hotel and rooms very clean & modern. Air conditioning was a great extra. Good location only short train/taxi/walk away from city centre & west end.

    Room slightly on the small size for a triple bed room.

    The lifts were, in my opinion, angerous. They started to close before I was able to enter with my suitcase and my foot was trapped.

    Fairly modern hotel/motel with good car parking, clean rooms, TV & tea/coffee, reasonable breakfast. Very near the SECC. Excellent value when booked through Active Hotels.

    20 minute walk to city center. Apart from SECC and one Chinese restaurant nothing else in close vicinity.

    Cleanliness very good .... very polite and helpful staff .... there was an incident with the fire alarm on the morning of departure where someone was drying socks with a hair dryer!!! and set the alarm off. The systems in place worked very well,alarms/lift isolation/etc and the staff very very professional and efficient. They had it all back to normal and running efficiently very quickly and apologetic to hotel guests..... well done!!!!

    slight mix up at check-in as the compter did not recognise my name which I used to book three rooms. .... sorted out quickly though and satisfactorily.

    Nice clean hotel, rooms functional, reasonable location.

    Rooms small and basic. Breakfast service in need of improvement, tables not cleared, the food kept running out and it took a long time to refill.

    Staff at hotel friendly & interested

    Initial problem over booking in that only one room was shown as being reserved when there was two Problem arose from on line booking form : one named booking shown then only a space to cover the second room booking Very confusins! Something to be looked at I think

    Maid entered room whilst we were still in bed on morning of 2nd stay !! As this was at approx 9am I thought it was a bit inconsiderate and we felt we were being hurried to leave. Luckily we were just about to go for breafast so we were already awake !

    I liked the fact the accomodation was clean and comfortable. Well worth the value of money - didn't eat in the retaurant but to the eye - looked every bit worth the money.

    Rooms slightly small but as I said before more than adequite - well worth the money.

    Everything at the hotel was fantastic. Everyone on staff polite and very helpful. We will definately use the hotel again and would not hesitate to reccomend it to others.

    It was situated in a convenient place, the staff were helpful, it was clean and pleasent

    The bathroom being in the style of a wetroom because after the shower was used if you went throught to the bathroom your trousers and feet would get wet

    "I have stayed at the Campanile on several occasions now, when I am through in Glasgow for shows at the SECC. The location is fantastic (less than a 5 minute walk from the SECC) and the accomdation itself is great. Good, clean basic accomodation with all the facilites that you need for an overnight stay. I think it is great value for money and I find no fault with this property and have no hesitation in recommending it to others." (97342443)

    "This time unfortunately, as mentioned above, the toilet seat was broken, when the room was serviced the dirty tea cups were not removed or replaced, neither was the tea, sugar milk etc. The ashtray was removed and not replaced. The TV didn't work (no BBC1, BBC2 or ITV). All in all I was rather disappointed as I have recommended your hotel to friends in the past and now hope they don't have a stay like this last weekend."     I have stayed at the Campinile on a number of occassions and always had a pleasant stay.

    The toilet seat was broken, when the room was serviced the dirty tea cups were not removed or replaced, neither was the tea, sugar milk etc. The ashtray was removed and not replaced. The TV didn't work (no BBC1, BBC2 or ITV).

    "Really enjoyed our stay (4 adults). Arrived just after 5pm, and got a booking in their restaurant for that evening. The meal was lovely, with all staff welcoming, polite and efficient. Breakfast was much better than I had expected, huge choice on display. Overall, very impressed with every aspect of the hotel and have made another booking for later in the year." (97697571)

    Although the room was a bit small, very modern, clean and fresh, with all facilities you would expect. Bed very comfortable. All you need for a short stay.

    The room was a bit cold at night.

    "Some confusion over the booking information - stated maximum additional space in room for a child is one cot or bed. So, I'd assumed that a 3 person room could accommodate an extra child. This was apparently not the case - no extra space. However, hotel staff quickly and courteously sorted the problem even if they didn't understand my point. Could have been a serious problem if hotel was fully booked." (97305835)

    Excellent value, friendly service & child frendly.

    Bathroom was a little chilly and no standard tv channels in room.

    The service was very good and the room was comfortable.

    The food wasnt so nice and in the morning i woke up feeling like my lungs were blocked. The room having been smoked in before did not leave it desirable for a non smoking couple.

    "Hotel was excellent for overnight stay as we were going to a concert at secc. Taxi fare from glasgow central was under £4. Hotel rooms were very comfortable although room was slightly cold, however beds were very comfortable with very warm quilts. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room were very welcome" (97328717)
