    "when i booked i didnt realise it was halls of residence. i would not ever stay there again!" (97239723)

    i didnt like anything about it!

    it was dirty,the room smelled of smoke.it was obvious the bed sheets weren't cleaned and there was hairs all over the duvet cover. the cups in the room were also dirty.

    "l'hotel est assez loin a pied du centre ville (35min). Les chambres ne sont pas faites tous les jours, les serviettes ne sont pas changées. Mais c'est propre et tres agreable. Il y a une cuisine equipée ce qui est appreciable pour ceux qui restent plus d'un weekend. calme. Il ya une ligne de bus pour rejoindre Glasgow." (99213799)

    "I have stayed here on a number of ocassions over the last year and the standard of the room has been generally reasonable. i would recommend you get your TV reception sorted and reinforce with penalty clauses if needed that it is a non smoking establishment." (97808904)

    self contained secure parking - although the gates were open on both times of entry/exit this visit.

    Although a non smoking hotel the room smelt strongly of smoke on entering.When offered an alternative room that room was dirty - smears all over the TV screen, dirty window ledges and surfaces - hence choose the original room and froze keeping the window open to air the smell. the TV had exceedingly poor reception and in the second room there was no reception at all. the fridge in the second flat smelt very strongly of gone off produce (although it was empty) and would have been unhiegenic to use.

    "hôtel intéressant malgré le problème des toilettes qui ne fonctionnaient pas. Le logement était pratique et bien organisé. Pas de femmes de chambre pendant 5 jours ça commençait à être un peu sale par terre. Des efforts à faire pour recevoir les clients et pour l'entretien mais l'hôtel est très bien : une cuisine commune avec four à micro-onde et gazinière, une télé dans la chambre avec lecteur de dvd et surtout on est pratiquement dans le centre de Glasgow pour un petit prix."     un hôtel pas cher avec accès internet et une cuisine à partager ce qui a réduit les coûts de nôtre voyage. La chambre était fonctionnelle et l'hôtel n'est pas loin du tout du centre ville

    le lit était en mauvais état et les toilettes ne fonctionnaient pas malgré avoir prévenu la reception alors pendant 5 jours on a dû remplir des seau d'eau en guise de chasse

    "This hotel is fine if you are not too fussy about luxury. It is plain, but clean enough. Perfect for someone without too high demands on standard, wanting reasonably cheap accommodation." (97643293)

    It was cheap, reasonably central, perfect if budget is a prime concern and you don't mind staying in student-accommodation type room.

    The plastic toilet-cum-shower cubicle put me off the desire to attempt having a shower.

    Secure parking. Excellent Recepctionst. Close to bus and taxi. Area good no roudy behaviour at weekend. Good Quiet hard working cleaners.

    Room not as on website. Computers not working. Tv sometimes defective.Room well used would need a spruce up.

I would not say it is suitable for families as people were coming in at all hours. You are not informed that it is student accomodation until you get there or look at the reviews online.     clean and tidy great for a short stay

    was advertised when booking close to hampdon park and we wanted to be in walking distance.This was not the case and it ended up after the concert taking three hours to get back. we were all cold and wet so it did spoil our weekend in Scotland (all six of us)

    Room was clean with brand new towles provided. Ensuite was adequate and clean.

    Window in room could not be closed as hing was broken and heater had been left on full to compensate. Rained very heavily and water was coming through window through the nigh.

    Hotel was well priced and very good value for money.

    One of the rooms in my group hadn't been cleaned and we had to change. I didn't receive my e-mail confirmation and had to chase this up, I was then referred to "Head-Office" to request a confirmation. This took 15 minutes for a simple e-mail to be sent. Although check-in is usually 3pm, the management agreed to let us check in at 12pm as we had been travelling overnight. Upon arrival I found that the promised "note on the system" hadn't been made. Fortuanately the lady on the front desk was very helpful and agreed to let us check in anyway.

    "The hotel was very secure; i felt safe due to the fact that we needed a scanner to get in the building. The rooms were clean and warm. The area was good, and maps were provided which was helpful. One thing i would say is- although i appreciated this hotel, no mention of the fact that it was student accomodation was made on the website or at any stage of the booking process. I am a student so student accomodation didn't phase me; but for anyone who wants to stay in a traditional 'hotel' this might not be the place for you. The hotel is excellent value for money."     "Cheap and cheerful university halls room. Didn't strike me as particularly nice area of Glasgow but the price is fantastic. Tea and coffee making facilities, shower, toilet and TV. The only thing I would have liked is some breakfast facility. Also only a £5 taxi ride from the centre. Would thoroughly recommend for anybody wanting somewhere cheap to stay where they won't be spending much time actually in their room." (97977835)

    Practical/ nice with our own kitchen.

    Beforehand they appear to be a hotel, but once you realize it is a student housing, renting out the spare rooms. This should have come across more clearly.

    The facilities were less than desireable. No alarm clock was in the room, a hotel staff member walked into the room unannounces whild my wife an I were sleeping. The shower facilities was like taling a shower in a phonebooth, and the hallways reaked of cigeratte smoke.

    "Management must be organised, don't confuse students who staying there and Guests who coming there for few days or weeks. I booked for 2 adults and hotel staff gave us 1 teamug insdead of 2. I complained about it to reception, the answer was 1 teamug per room. I and my friend were frustrated." (97137471)
