    good location

    room was very cramped near reception and eating area - there was a lot of noise very early in the morning (5:45 am) during preparations for breakfast

    "Good value, clean accomodation. breakfast was good. Hotel was literally 2 minutes walk from the railway station and very close to the museums and christmas markets, as well as the cathedral. Recommended" (99436500)

    Very central and close to the cathedral and the shopping areas. Very close to the main station.

    "The room was very small and had no view but it was clean and warm and everything in the bathroom functioned well. We booked a non smoking room which we were given but as several staff members on the desk smoked, smoke from the reception area came up the stairs and came in under the door, it was impossible to use the lift as it was so small, we put our luggage in it and walked up the stairs. The breakfast was adequate but there was no comfortable lounge area to relax in if the weather was bad. We stayed over easter and it snowed heavily two or three times. It is OK as a base for a weekend away in good weather to see the sights but it was too cramped for our five nights stay." (97741343)

    some staff smoked continually in the reception area making it impossible to sit in the tiny lounge area. Room quite dreary with no view, beds very soft.

    "This hotel is in an ideal location if you want to be near the train station. The hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast was adequate. I would stay again." (97887126)

    "This hotel is in an excellent location, minutes from the central station. The facilities are excellent, clean and comfortable. Our triple room was spacious enough for three adults and the bathroom facilities were modern, clean and very well presented. Check in was easy and the reception staff helpful. Free internet connection is available. Continental breakfast was lovely. We will definitely use this hotel again when staying in K" (99435386)

    Had a room at the back and it was extremely quiet for such a centrally located hotel. Very good breakfast.

    Room on the small side and only English TV channel was irritating CNN.

    "It was quite difficult to get the non-smoking accommodation that we had requested as the majority of the rooms were for smokers. Although the hotel was very centrally situated and the rooms were comfortable for this reason I would not stay here again." (99653901)

    The hotel was well placed for the station and the Christmas markets

    The hotel smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke.

    loction - bang in centre of cologne, price - dirt cheap,the hotel is very nice with friendly helpfull staff you just cant faulkt it as this price!

    Safe needed a deutchmark to operate it!

    "Can't beat this location for access to train travel and central Cologne sights. If you are passing through Cologne airport the S-Bahn is only 15mins to the airport and station is literally less than 2 minute walk to the platform which is perfect for early morning flights. Hotel is also clean and quite." (99844919)

    Unbeatable location for the Haupbahnhof and free internet access was an unexpected bonus.

    Bathroom was a little on the small side.
