    "I had a great time, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, the TV worked well to watch the olympics and I was there for the festival and was able to walk to most venues during the day and the Haymarket Station is very close for those going by train." (99286344)

    Facilidad de reserva. Céntrico. Check-in con horario bastante amplio. Sin restricciones horarias para entrar por la noche.

    Caro. No había necesidad de contratar 2 noches en el mismo hotel.

    "the hotel had exelent public transport. also within 100 meters you could find a venue to suit every palate and budget to eat out. small and larger shops were also close at hand from a newsagent upwards.this is in an ideal location for all tourist activities and the welcome you get is exelent."     the accomadation was clean friendly and welcoming. it was also value for money. my room was exelent only small nigle was the shower head but i soon sorted that out for my stay.the owner Ritchie was exelent i would recomend to try this hotelm as it outshonethe usual big brand hotels i stay at.

    "The hotel was a 10min leisurely stroll to Princess St.Parking near the hotel is a problem as there is only expensive meter street parking in the area, or an NCP carpark which was £7.70 per 24hrs & a 5min walk. The hotel was busy, which is a good sign, and it`s probably a good deal in this price range in this area." (97467718)

    "The hotel is convenient for Haymarket station and the proprietor was welcoming and good at indicating places to eat within the local vicinity (no evening meals at hotel). The room was good size but the beds had seen better days- our double bed was little bigger than our son's single and had a pronounced dip in the middle. The main problem, however, was breakfast the following morning; there was a queue because of insufficient capacity in the room and orders took an age to come through." (97158045)

    The welcome was friendly and our room was a good size.

    Our bed was small and uncomfortable and the service at breakfast time was rather chaotic.

    Convenient location. Close to Haymarket Station. Breakfast was good. Service was friendly and accomodating. Good security.

    Toilet door could not lock properly. A lift inside the hotel would be useful for those staying on the topmost floor.

    "The hotel was in a good position, in a quiet street but within reasonable walking distance of the centre. All staff were friendly and helpful, but breakfast facilities were rather stretched at busy times. Small details of concern were lack of reading lighting in the bedroom, lack of knob/handle on the wardrobe door, and a double bed that sagged into the middle.     The old world charm and decor of our high ceiling room with plenty of space.

    Did not find the shower much use, very poor water flow and did not like the fact the bathroom was carpeted, not very hygenic!

    "The stay was very good and much better than the Travel Inn I have stayed at on most of my Edinburgh trips. t would have been nice to know that there was full cooked breakfast included, this would have made me stay at the hotel sooner, instead of trying other bed and breakfasts in the area first."     Although not quite finished, the en-suite had a lovely modern makeover. The room was a very good size for a single. The freeview box was a good bonus. The standards were much higher than the hotels I have stayed at for the same price in the area. Breakfast had a good menu. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

    There were areas of the room that had been missed by cleaning regime. I needed to use a plug socket that was almost behind the wardrobe, and it had not been dusted for sometime.

    "The hotel is a about 15 min walk from the centre and there are plenty of buses. It is adjacent to a flight bus stop. The hotel decor is a little tired but the staff friendly. There is a good bar. Our room was well equiped and spacious. Payment was on arrival." (99760400)

    "Close to shops and amenities, nice pub over the road called the Caledonian. Handy for buses into town but also close enough to walk. We chose the Haymarket because it wasn't too expensive for a 3 star hotel compared to a lot of others. We were pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation. Our room was large and airy and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was served hot and swiftly so you could eat and get on your way without waiting round. As much toast and coffee/tea as you wanted. We had a lovely few days and I would definitely go back there and will recommend it to friends and family." (99858846)

    Spacious, nicely decorated room, comfortable bed. 10 minute walk from city centre and also round the corner from main bus route. Lovely, hot cooked breakfast and plenty of it and as much toast and coffee as you wanted. Pleasant and helpful staff.

    Good location, clean hotel and large comfortable room.

    Decoration and furniture was dated but in keeping with the hotel. No complimetry toiltiers or glasses in the room. It felt like our neighbours were in the room with us. We knew exactly when our neighbour was going in the shower as he shouted it to his wife/girlfriend.

    "The Haymarket Hotel was ideal for the centre of Edinburgh and for those who wish to use the Airport Bus Link as it is situated just around the corner from The Haymarket Train Station and Bus Stop. We found that parking our hire car not very convenient as there is no Hotel Parking and you have to pay for parking in the street at 60p for every 15 minutes! until 6.00pm and then the charges start again at 8.30am! The Haymarket also had a strange set up of guests having to leave the hotel to have their breakfast next door! Felt a bit like local entertainment as ourselves and other guests all traipsed next door enmass! Netherless we had a fantasic time in Edinburgh and would recommend a visit to everyone." (99580516)

    The Haymarket Hotel was an easy 5-10 minute stroll to the centre of Edinburgh and very close to the main bus links to the Airport.

    We were not that impressed with the fact that you had to go next door for Breakfast and at busy times had to wait for a table. When you are on a schedule for visiting attractions you really don't want to be planning extra time for breakfast.

    "I would not hestitae to stay at this hotel again, everything was good the location was fine about 20 walk to the centre of Edinburgh, very nice staff. The breakfast just needed a bit more cooking and a bit more choice no haggis for goodness sake your in the middle of Scotland and it said kippers on the menu when it should have said kipper.     "Located within 15 mins walk of city centre in an older part of town. Used two restaurants nearby for dinner both served excellent quality good value food. With hind sight may have got a better value deal for the money or upgraded to a 4 star for little extra cost.     Beautiful old Georgian building with vast high ceiling rooms. Breakfast was well prepared.

    TV had indoor aerial with no remote picture was unwatchable. En suite was sectioned off part of room with no extractor fan,shelf in the shower and fittings were loose in the sink and towel holder. A light bulb was missing from the bed side lamp and controls for main lights were only operable from doorway into room.

I set off in the wrong direction to Haymarket till I had to turn around to HAYmarket terrace A few locals I asked were not knowledgeable of the hotel and its location .MAybe it was late vening ! Loved the warm welcome and the cheery staff . Special mention must be made of Manager Ritchie himself > he had all the time and patience for us.The rooms were cute and well furnished and of course very warm and comfortable Will recommend this place" (3304491594)

    "I felt the hotel was clean but dated not very accurately described. I expected to have a parking place but was told that i could only park outside for three hours at a time and i had to park my car 20 mins walk away and constantly pop back to check on it.
