    It says on your website that all rooms have an uninterupted country view (No they don't) most of them have my girlfrinds room (Room No 6) had a direct view of the building accross from her. Cleanliness. The top off the wardrobe was dusty in my room.

    "We would definitely recommend this hotel as the staff were excellent, breakfast was huge for a fiver and very nice, and being a Free House there was a great selection of beverages from foreign lagers and beers to real ales. Nice location away from residential area and near to lakes making for a lovely walk the next day." (97255785)

    The staff & hotel room was nice

    It was very noisey whilst trying to get to sleep and i woke up shivering as my room was freezing. The central heating cooled down to low and with only having white linen sheets and a satin throw i had to out more layers on whilst in bed!

    Lovely views and a very nice inn with character.

    The breakfast was very slow service and there was only one jug of milk and orange juice to go around for everyone.

    The food is excellent and, loads of excellent Real Ales are available from a great bar area.

    The owner doesn't make you feel welcome, throughout my meal's in the Restaurant the pub quiz was piped through.

    Room fairly basic having, for example only one upright chair and a shower that needed renewing. No toilet cleaning facilities.

    Overall this hotel was great. Based in a really good pub with excellent and unusual real ales on offer. I didn't get to try the food as I arrived late, but the menu looked substantial and tempting. Check the hotels own web site for full details. The room was clean and tidy and very well decorated. My room was on a noisey corridor of creaking floor boards and banging doors. But I did sleep through most of this. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Parking wasn't a problem, plebty of space. There is also a no smoking section of the bar.

    The full english breakfast didn't quite do it for me. It was ok, but no milk was delivered with the instant coffee, the breakfast looked rushed. But it was all edible - I'm just being fussy here.

    Good clean rooms, fan in room, comfortable beds, relaxed welcoming atmosphere.

    No nearby play area for children and although they advertise children under a certain age are free they charge 10 pounds for an additional bed in the room for the child to sleep on.
